Yesterday we took a day trip to a neighbouring town just to feel the summer, like a lazy summer vacation in childhood. It was nothing special: a road trip, then a short session at the local skatepark, a walk to the river lighthouse and power plant (I love industrial sites, and for me they are really a part of childhood summers), heat and a thunderstorm, a local cosplay fest, and then the trip back home through heavy rain. Finally feeling alive.
